PROBLEM
Given an open brief to design a product or system of choice for a fictional low economic country prone to flooding, heavy rain and natural disasters. Parameters were set to be completed within 12 hours, giving a 3 min pitch to engineering industry professionals.
SOLUTION
Awarded 2nd place in a 12-hour design challenge against 100+ competitors across different Universities.
Leading a small team to present and pitch a final design in front of a panel of industry-leading professionals.
Effectively managed team members and individual roles to maximize benefits from individual skills and talents delivering a product in a short time scale.
Created a water filtration kit concept that can be used by citizens to create their own water filtration. This provides the knowledge of the citizens to repair their water filter if and when it fails, as the issue with most technologically advanced designs in Low economic countries.

FINAL DESIGN
Rapid manual visualizations of the final design was created using markers and pen. This communicated clearly our design to be presented and pitched.
