PROBLEM
To develop industry standard CAD modelling proficiency, using best practice in NX11. By completing a range of tasks to interpret or create BS8888 Engineering Drawings.
SOLUTION
Used best practice to create solutions to the following tasks, consistently referring to "BS8888 Technical Product Documentation and Specification" and "SIEMENS Learning Advantage" to ensure Engineering Drawings and CAD modelling was done to industry best practice.
1. CREATING ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS
Created an assembly model from given part files ensuring the assembly model is constrained correctly. Created an exploded assembly view and engineering drawings with three views; Isometric, Section Drawing and Exploded Part View

2. INTERPRETING ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
Created a dimensionally accurate CAD model in NX 11 from a given carrier base engineering drawing. Ensuring the model sketch is constrained correctly to be flexible to design changes in industry.

3. CREATING ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
Created BS8888 industry standard engineering drawing from a given part file model of a vice base in NX 11. Including a section view and hole thread information.
