PROBLEM
A commissioned project to design a decal of a Rickshaw for 'The Rickshaw Run' competition around the Himalayas. Constant open communication with the client was essential to ensure an accepted final design. The design had to include sheep, a vegan symbol and be colourful.
SOLUTION
Worked to a tight schedule where many iterations and developments were done using feedback given from the client. The final inspiration was taken from the clients sons favorite picture book, “Shaun the sheep”.
The decal was designed on a fixed template to be easily interpreted by the painters in the Rickshaw garage. The design was constrained by the curves and the forms of the Rickshaws body, which had to be taken into account.
Great care was taken to ensure all of the clients criteria was met, as well as complete open communication with the client. Leaving the rickshaws successful completion around the Himalayas.
